Youth for Equity and Service
YES, Youth for Equity and Service is an independent youth organization based in Hana Mission.
We foster connections to our community by volunteering at our thrift stores and homeless
shelters. We believe that we can leave a lasting impact on our community if we work together
as a team.
Environmental Sustainability and Service of YES
We collect second-hand clothes and household products from our neighborhood and sell at the thrift stores run by Hana Mission. We engage youth in environmental-based service
experiences, inspiring ethic of sustainability.
Equity and Service of YES
We help under-resourced low-income families through online tutoring program for students
and free meals at Sunday Soup Kitchen. We encourage them to become self-reliant with the
right support from us!
Our Mission
Our mission is simple but impactful: to provide a nourishing meal and a sense of community to
