어린이 여름 캠프가 벌써 한 달 앞으로 다가왔습니다. 아이들은 물론이고 어머니들 조차 이 캠프에 자녀들을 보내기위해 자리다툼을 하고있습니다. 그런데 문제가 생겼습니다. 하나 선교회 사역이 커지면서 보험회사들이 선교회를 기피하는것입니다. 일반 교회보다 위험 부담이 더 많다고 여기지기 때문이겠죠. 10년이 넘는 기간동안 한번도 클래임을 하지 않은 기관임에도 불구하고 보험 회사는 조금이라도 위험하다고 느껴지면 가차 없이 중단 하는것입니다.

어린이 캠프를 하지 못한다고 하나 선교회는 달라질 것이 하나도 없습니다. 오히려 저는 더 조용한 여름을 보내게 되겠지요.하지만 아이들은 갈곳이 없습니다. 하루 종일 집에 틀어박혀 비디오 게임과 TV로 시간을 보내겠지요. 그리고 조금 더 큰 아이들은 무료함을 해결하려다가 마약에 손을 대기 시작할 것입니다. 하나 선교회가 이 아이들이 가지고 있는 모든 문제를 해결할 수는 없습니다. 그러나 아이들의 마음에 하나님 아버지의 사랑을 심어주려고 합니다. 그 씨가 심겨지면 그 다음에 누군가물을주고 때가 되면 하나님께서 사람을 보내어 열매를 거두시겠지요.

이를 위해서 기도해 주십시요. 빠른 시일내에 보험증을 보유하여 무사히 여름 캠프를 잘 치를수 있도록.

그리고 한 달에 $10 후원해 주십시요. 하나님과 이웃을 사랑하는 마음이 있는분은 어떤 방법으로든 우리는 섬김을 실천할 수있습니다.

함께 하나님의 나라를 확장하는 여러분과 하나 선교회가 되기를 기도합니다.

기도 제목

Children are excited. Parents are knocking the door for availability. Everyone is ready for the 2016 summer camp of Hana Mission. Nonetheless, we have an issue with the insurance company. Within the last ten years Hana mission had to look for a new insurance company at least three times. It seems as a typical pattern for an insurance company to discontinue the policy when there is an increase of risk. And I do understand these behaviors since that is the reality of U.S. of America, the land of capitalism. After paying 10k per year for the premium, only reply we have received is a letter of termination.

It will be a quiet summer and which I don’t mind. Hana Mission will continue its ministry with or without the summer camp. However, what about the children? What are they going to do throughout the summer besides watching TV and playing video games? For younger ones may stay home, comply with the order from their guardians. However, the older ones are facing the drug dealers and they will start experimenting with drug, sex and violence to deal with their boredom.

Please pray for Hana Mission and the summer camp. We need God’s help in finding an insurance company that takes some risk. In the same way, we need Christians who are willing to take some risk. Instead of routine cycles of church life let’s carry the cross that Jesus carried for us. As Jesus took all the risk for us it is our time to carry his cross and follow his footsteps.

May the Lord empower you to be bold and willing to take a risk in following Jesus.
